Constructed in March 1989. The opening premier, G. Verdifs Opera Buffa gFalstaffh, was performed in the following April.
The College Opera House is the first opera house which has a resident orchestra and chorus. Annually it hosts various types of series, such as Mozart Opera Series, series for discovering non-mainstream masterpieces and concert-style opera series.

The College Opera House Orchestra was founded as a resident orchestra of The College Opera House in April 1988.
Having had already 41 subscription concerts by April 2008, it has been serving also for opera performances such as Summer Opera Series, The 20th Century Opera Series and Concert-Style Opera Series hosted by The College Opera House. From the very early period, the orchestra has been helping students of Osaka College of Music for their research and study, and will support graduate studentfs Masterfs Concert, The Concerto Concert and Piano Grand Concert from this school year.
Other than the performances at The College Opera House, the orchestra received nationwide high reputation for the production of Toshiro Mayuzumifs gKinkakujih performed at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and Biwako Hall. September 2005, New National Theatre, Tokyo, started the series of gInvitation to the Fine Local Theatreh and they chose The College Opera House with the production of gSilenceh by Teizo Matsumura as the first guest theatre of their new series. The stage got a great response and became a center of theatrical news.
The orchestra became an associate member of Association of Japanese Symphony Orchestra since April 2008.
 
 
Organized as the resident chorus for The College Opera House in June 1993. Mainly performs for the opera stage and it highly appreciated for its debut performance, C.M.v. Weberfs gDer Freischützh, Toshiro Mayuzumifs gKinkakujih, L.Dallapiccolafs gIl Prigioneroh and gVolo di Notteh and F.Busonifs gTurandoth and so on.
